Dear all
On Monday 18 November, we will be rehearsing parts I & II. The livestream link is:

Then there is one more Monday night! On 25 November, we will be rehearsing in St Mary's Church at 8pm parts IV & VI. Please try to be there early and sit where you sat on 30 September. Sopranos will be in the left hand side pews and the altos in the right hand side pews. The tenors will be in the left hand side choir stalls and the basses in the right hand side choir stalls. Hopefully, the building work will have just finished. We will try to put some chairs out in front of the pews where we can. Please can the shorter singers sit in front of the taller ones and make sure you can see Steven!
On the afternoon of the concert on Saturday 30
th, Steven plans to rehearse the four parts in the following order, with approximate timings.
2.00 – Part VI
2.40 – Part I
3.30 – Part II
4.15 – Part IV
5.00 – finish
Within each part, he will rehearse the movements in order, so that singers and players can get used to the flow of the music. We all need to be there for the 3 hours. The actual performance will last about two and a quarter hours including the interval.
CUTS (a reminder):
#1 – only as far as bar 137, then CUT to #2
#19 – only as far as bar 112, then CUT to #20
#61 and #62 are both CUT
On a different note, can I take this opportunity to advertise a concert this Sunday afternoon at 4pm in St Mary's Church as part of St Mary's Music Sunday Afternoon Concert Series. Patrick and Caroline's daughter, Rosie, is playing the cello. She will be accompaned on the piano by Alex Hiam (St Mary's Director of Music). The concert lasts about an hour and is followed by refreshments. Entry is free and donations go to St Mary’s Music Fund. I attach her programme which includes next year's Sunday Afternoon concerts as well.
Best wishes,
Mike Elcock
